Fall in Cologne, Germany
This fall we went to Cologne, Germany. We were so excited when we are about to go there. We woke up at 5:30 in the morning only to prepare ourselves so that we could go and catch the train in time. Fortunately, we caught the train in time and actually it was 20 minutes before the departure time of the train! We went to McDonalds in the train station to have breakfast since we haven’t had lunch yet and we also have time for that. After that we went to Cologne and it actually took us around 70-80 minutes from Aachen to Cologne train station. After waiting for a while, we finally arrived in Cologne.
This is the picture of the Cologne train station. We arrived there around 9 o’clock and then we walk around several shops in the train station. The train station is called Bahnhof in German language. Hauptbahnhof means that it is the main train station in the city. We bought some breads and pizzas from some of the good cafes to eat and some drinks to continue our travel there.
We went out of the train station and find that there’s the Cologne Cathedral right next to the train station. The Cathedral was so huge, we’ve never seen a church that big before.
